GARMENT CARE INFORMATON

  • The fabric used in this dress are made from a variety of sources. Chiffons,Satins, Jersey fabrics, silk, lining made from polyester yarns. All thesefabrics are high quality and very delicate.
  • With proper care this dress ensure that you look elegant for several specialoccasions, if you mistreat or handle your dress as casually as a day to daygarment, its longevity will be compromised and won’t last long.
  • Beaded dresses are always very delicate, you must take and care whenputting on and taking off the garment. Some dresses have ‘lace-up’ backs,some have a short zip and some of our gowns have long zips. The zips aresewn ‘close in’ to give a smooth appearance. It is important that theperson wearing the gown takes care when zipping up the dress to ensurethe fabric or beads do not get caught and damage the gown.
  • As many as two hundred beads and sequins may be stitched on using asingle thread; therefore, it is vital that the tread does not break, the endsmust be knotted to prevent to many beads/ sequins from being lost. Asmall packet matching is usually supplied with each dress. Any damage tothe beading must be repaired as soon as possible. It is always a good ideato always take a few safety pins as a precaution.
  • Be aware that some jewellery such as necklaces, earrings, bracelets,watches, and rings can all catch the bead work, which could break thestitching and damage fabric.
  • This garment should NEVER be machine washed or tumbled dried.
  • If it becomes necessary to clean the garment, then gently hand was thedress, please be aware that the dress will become much heavier whenwet, so take care to support the weight of the gown. Dry the dress flat andpress with cool iron. If hand washed was not effective, then take it to adry-cleaning specialist company to have it spot cleaned. DO NOT have thehole dress dry cleaned as this will ruin beading/ sequins or fabric maydiscolour.
  • When storing the gown, it is very important that the weight of the dress issupported by the hanger loops sewn into the inner seams, if you havespace store the dress flat.
  • Beaded dresses should always be covered when being stored.
  • Prom dresses are NOT FIREPROOF; do not allow then near ANY source toignition.
  • Changes in fabric shades do occur and are beyond our control from thesupplier. We will not accept grounds for rejection of the goods or part of.Some fabrics contain irregularities, variation and inclusions that are in noway to be considered as defective. They are characteristics features of the yarn which gives the fabric its beauty, texture and originality and will notbe accepted as grounds for rejection of the goods.
  • All dresses are checked for quality with customer before leaving thepremises. After the gown has left the premises, we don’t not exceptreturns for any flaws or faults.
